| pastry dough: 1 cup plain flour 1/2 cup butter/ margarine 1 tsp caster sugar/icing sugar 1 egg yolk 1 Tbsp cold water mix butter and flour with fork until crumble, add all ingredient. Cover with plastic wrap and set aside. Preheat the oven. Mincemeat : 1 granny apple, finely chopped 2 tbsp sultana, chopped 2 tbsp raisins, chopped 3 tbsp dried cranberries 1 Tbsp glace cherry, chopped 1 tbps walnut, chopped 3 tbsp sugar ( i used sugar contain pectin) 50 ml rhum a pinch of grated cinnamon or 1 cm. cook all the mincemeat until reduce and thickened. leave to cool. can be store in airtight container for longtime. Roll out the pastry dough, cut and fill the alluminium case. Add mincemeat and top with pastry dough. Oven for 10 minutes in 130-140C. |
